It is mostly made on Eid. Basically it is vermicelli porridge with lots of dry fruits in it. It tastes just awesome and very easy to make. Do try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients: • 2 tsp Ghee • Finely chopped Cashew, Almonds & Pistachios • 1 tsp blanched Chironji / Charoli • 2 sliced Dates • 1/2 cup Sevai / Vermicelli • 1/2 litre Milk • 1/2 cup Sugar • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder • Few Saffron strands dissolved in milk • 1 drop Kewra essence Method: • Heat up a pan on medium heat. • Add ghee, assorted dry fruits, chironji, dates and roast on low heat until dry nuts turn nice golden brown in color. • Add sevai and sauté well. • Add milk and mix well. • Add sugar and mix well. • Simmer for about 10-15 minutes. • Add cardamom powder, saffron milk, kewra essence and mix well. • The sheer khurma should have nice creamy texture. • Turn off the gas and sheer khurma is all ready.
