Cilantro and tomato chutney is common indian food condiment. Lacto fermented cilantro and burnt tomato chutney is a step above the traditional method. Fermentation gives the acidity, sharpness and life to the chutney/ salsa and the use of burnt tomatoes adds the depth and complexity in the flavour. The taste of this chutney/ salsa is really versatile and pairs well with sautéed vegetables, grilled/ tandoori chicken, daal, rice and almost most of the dishes in indian food.
