About Raymond Mak: Raymond is the co-founder and CEO of Farmacy Hong Kong Limited, the 1st “Agri-Prop” (agriculture and properties) tech start-up in Asia that builds smart indoor mobile farms in highly urbanized cities, enabling supermarkets, restaurants, schools and households to farm ultra-fresh, safe, nutrient rich and affordable crops on-site with 100% transparent and fully automated indoor farming technologies. The initial idea of Farmacy began at Business Lab, the highlighted module of HKU MBA. Raymond will tell us the Farmacy story, and how MBA changed his life – from a management consultant to a successful entrepreneur who helps to tackle one of the major world’s problems – shortage of farming land. About Ray Ng: Ray Ng is the Esports Manager for Cyberport and is responsible for the esports cluster's day-to-day operations. Ray's focus is facilitating the local esports industry and establishing the esports ecosystem in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Cyberport, Ray was the Esports Strategy Manager at Tencent Games and the Associate Esports Manager at Blizzard Entertainment where he covered Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Working in a public organization in Hong Kong, Ray has the sense of duty of delivering a positive impact for the community and the public, after studying in one of the impactful modules of HKU MBA: Business Ethics.
