His dissection is easy to follow, even for most of us that don' t really fully understand all of the aspects of music, musicianship, song structure, etc. Especially liked how phil touched on the chord changes, playing them for us and then he rehashed the 3/4 time, so we could easily grasp how john had done it originally. John denver was one of the artists that i don' t quite understand the reasoning behind eliminating this from music. It seems to me that this strive for perfection is actually removing what made the song perfect in the first place. Artists should have the freedom to create music as they feel it.
