SHARK DIVE in Bora, French Polynesia.

June, 29th 2021 Vlog #34 I was so excited I couldn't sleep, I woke up right around sunrise. I let Michelle sleep in wile I ran around our resort (Le Bora Bora) taking pictures... After getting my fill on morning photos, I went back to the bungalow. I filled our water reservoir backpacks with our nifty water filter. Michelle and I then walked down to the dock where our dive boat would meet us... After a quick safety briefing by our dive master we plunged into the turquoise waters.. the first dive was going to be focusing on finding Eagle Rays... We only saw one Eagle Ray and it was really far away, luckily for us the coral was amazing and we found an few anemones with lots of clown fish inside... After a short surface interval we dove for a second time. This dive's focus was sharks, boy were we rewarded... After traveling back to the resort we grabbed a drink (our tradition after a dive).. Drink in hand we walked into the jungle behind our resort. during the hike/photo taking walk we realized we were being eaten alive by mosquitos.. We rushed back to our bungalow and changed into swimsuits and headed for the pool... I ran back to the room to grab Michelle's hat, which promptly flew off my head and into the ocean.. I ran back to the dock and jumped into the water but by the time I got to were it had fallen in it had already sunk... I swam around for about 50 minutes looking for it with my snorkel to no avail.. I returned to Michelle empty handed... On the way back to the bungalow I saw it on the bottom of the ocean floor... This time Michelle could direct me to it and we recovered it! Great success! we kept it easy for the rest of the day.. Hope you Enjoy!
